President Petr Pavel will appoint the leader of the ANO movement Andrej Babiš as prime minister on Tuesday, December 9. The president wrote this on the X network. Babiš announced in the evening that he would resign from his holding Agrofert. He will not return to it even after the end of his political career. His descendants will get the company back after he dies.
"I appreciate the clear and understandable way in which Andrej Babiš has fulfilled our agreement and publicly announced the solution to his conflict of interest. I decided to appoint him as Prime Minister on Tuesday, December 9 at 9 am. I thereby respect the results of the election to the Chamber of Deputies of Parliament and the ongoing course of negotiations for the formation of a coalition government,"

The German government also advocates easing restrictions on the sale of cars with combustion engines after 2035. The European Commission, the European Parliament, and the Council of the EU agreed three years ago that cars with combustion engines will stop being sold in the union from 2035.
