Fast confession:
It suits you very well. Whose dress do you have?
It's from Boris King, who I always say is the king of the Czech fashion scene. I have a custom tailored dress from him made of an amazing fabric, which he ordered from Spain. And I think it's really great.
You also have interesting jewelry. Tell us something about it.
The jewelry are Aurum jewels, of which I am an ambassador, so I am also very proud to have been able to wear them today.
How do you perceive the first year without Mr. Jiří Bartoška? How do you take it?
I think that of course we are all incredibly sad about it. At the same time, the atmosphere that I perceive and that I like is one where everyone said: OK, we will carry his legacy forward, we will be positive and it will be about the films and the meeting, the friendship. Just as he liked it. And that's what I've been sensing so far on this first day here and I hope I'm not wrong.
What about you and cryptocurrencies? Do you trust them? Do you have Bitcoin or another?
I don't understand any of it, so if there is someone who could educate me about it, I would be glad.
And potentially other investments - stocks or something like that?
Again - I don't understand it at all. If anyone wants to educate me about it, I would be glad.
How do you perceive the current political situation in America? Would you like to live in Trump's America or without him?
I don't want to comment on politics at all. It's a very complicated world right now. Of course I have my own opinion on it, but I feel like I'd need to be a lot more educated about it to be able to talk about it to the media.
Which movie taught you more than school? Which one comes to mind first?
That's a nice question. First I thought of Amarcord, then Forrest Gump. I think they are movies about some kind of humanity. And that is of course vaguely put, but at the same time I think that when these themes appear in the movies, they are understandable across generations and countries.
What are the Vary about? Is it about art, or business?
I think it's about both. And it's okay that both things exist next to each other.
If you had to name your life after a movie, what title would you choose?
La dolce vita from Fellini.
Why this title in particular?
Because I'm in love with Italy. I really like the way Italians approach life - just that dolce vita, like life is beautiful. I think Italians have figured out how to live a beautiful life. Even if they don't have much, they have a family, they love to meet, they have good food, drink, beautiful culture - and I think that makes them happy people.
Who do you think sweats more - actors or managers?
Actors. Because we often shoot winter in the summer and are packed in fur.
What do you see as the bigger problem in the Czech Republic - prices or morality?
I think lately, both.
What do you perceive as the biggest moral problem in Czech society?
I think a big problem is lack of information and fear. Which is not directly a moral problem, but it leads to decisions that can be a moral problem.
What do you consider a greater luxury - owning an apartment in Prague, or peace of mind?
I think it's good to have your own apartment in Prague for that peace of mind.
How do you yourself indulge in luxury? Maybe in Vary - luxury accommodation, expensive dinners...?
Of course I like it when luxury comes into my life - I'm beautifully dressed, driven in a gorgeous car... it's amazing, beautiful. But at the same time, I just returned from shooting a movie where I spent a month and a half in the forest. So I live a balanced life.
