Not far from Beroun is the village of Vysoký Újezd. The advantageous location offers peace and privacy with a still pleasant twenty-minute drive to the capital. The big attractions are more affordable prices, unchanged exclusivity, and close nature. Clean air, minimal noise and beautiful views of the surrounding greenery and meadows. Český kras - Pláně is an ideal home for those who want to live in connection with nature, but work does not let them go completely alone.
There comes a time in life when the moment everyone claimed would never come does come. Instead of the city bustle, we start to be attracted by the tranquility of the countryside and instead of a walk for a coffee, we appreciate a quiet and undisturbed forest path. We will have had enough of block flats and we will derive greater joy from family houses with a soul and a charming chapel by a pond. This fantasy in all its beauty is exactly what the Český Kras microregion offers.
Boredom is definitely not a threat here
If you are attracted by beautiful nature with the option of countless interesting places for trips, you will like it here. The protected landscape area Český kras offers a lot. In addition to associating many charming villages, the very well-known quarry Velká Amerika is not far away. The Koněpruské caves are also an attraction. Athletes also get their money's worth because the walls are a great attraction for all climbers. For runners, there are several routes that they can use during their runs out. In summer it is ideal for cycling enthusiasts and for dog lovers it is a paradise on earth.

Unmistakable atmosphere
The whole area brings a pleasant atmosphere, to which the surrounding villages contribute. Each a little different, but they have a lot in common. They are full of traditions, with massive long-lived trees, mainly Lindens and homesteads, which could tell stories of many years.

For families, it is also a great way to provide children with a classic childhood without fear. Concrete walls are replaced by family homes and the hustle and bustle remain only in children's joy. A major advantage is also cleaner air, which has a positive impact, both on mental and physical health. The pace of life tends to be slower and thus less stressful.
Traditional but not behindhand
Combining renovation and preservation of traditional village benefits is not an easy task. In Vysoký Újezd, they managed to achieve this thanks also to the utilization of a preserved farmhouse.
"Together with the office, there are also plans to build a community hall with a restaurant and other spaces for community use. The village is also considering relocating the post office to the area. The garden at the farmhouse is intended to serve the citizens in the future - we plan to use it for social events, supplemented with play elements for children,"

Amenities
Advanced transport infrastructure is a great advantage, but without community amenities, it would be more of a rescue. This way, quick connections to Prague or Pilsen are more of a nice advantage than a necessity for living. Public transportation is also available, which parents will appreciate for their children. The availability of community services with new residential projects and playgrounds for children is also pleasing. The area is attractive for both families and potential investors.
Here you will find both a kindergarten and a primary school, along with a library and post office. You don't have to go far for groceries, and gourmets will also get their money's worth. After all, the luxurious Michelin-starred Papilio restaurant is located here.
"I've never had so many flavorful experiences in one evening. However, next time I'd rather opt for the three-course lunch menu they also offer here, so I don't overeat at night."
