Representatives of ANO, the Freedom and Direct Democracy movement and Motorists are set to sign a coalition agreement today. Their deputies should subsequently sign an addendum expressing their agreement with the text of the agreement and commit to comply with everything that comes out of it. At least seven people and another 150 were injured in an earthquake in the Afghan city of Mazar-i Sharif.

One hour before the commencement of the inaugural session of the new Chamber of Deputies, representatives of YES, the Freedom and Direct Democracy movement and Drivers will sign a coalition agreement today. The probable new government, which is being formed by the leader of YES, Andrej Babiš, at the behest of President Petr Pavel, should also officially publish its policy statement. The coalition agreement is a political agreement of governing parties and has no legal enforceability. The next step will be to submit a proposal for the staffing of the government. Babiš hopes that his cabinet will be established by mid-December at the latest, reported Ceskenoviny.cz.

Seven dead and 150 injured remain after a strong earthquake in Afghanistan

A strong earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit northern Afghanistan near the city of Mazar-i-Sharif. At least seven people were killed and another 150 were injured. The earthquake also destroyed part of the sacred Blue Mosque. The city is home to approximately 523 thousand residents. Many of them ran into the streets in the middle of the night for fear that their houses could collapse, as reported by Al Jazeera. The previous earthquake struck the east of the country on August 31, killing more than 2,200 people.

Trump reportedly ordered the Pentagon to "prepare for possible action" in Nigeria

US President Donald Trump stated that he ordered the Department of Defense to prepare for possible military action in Nigeria. The reason is said to be that he allegedly continues to not do enough to stop the violence perpetrated on Christians. In a social media post, Trump wrote that the United States will "immediately stop all aid and support to Nigeria" and warned the local government to "act quickly." However, Nigeria repeatedly denies the allegations, wrote the CNN TV portal.

More than a thousand items stolen from California museum

The theft of precious items is not only a problem in France. California police are investigating the theft of more than a thousand items from a local museum collection, including metal jewelry and baskets of the original inhabitants of America and everyday items. Among the stolen items are also necklaces by the deceased artist and blacksmith Florence Resnikoff. The break-in occurred in the early morning hours of October 15th in the external warehouse of the California Museum in Oakland, according to CNN.
