Members of the Democratic Party from the House Oversight Committee continue to publish photos and documents from the estate of sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein. For example, a released series includes a Czech passport that clearly belonged to a woman, though the other details are hidden. While President Donald Trump repeatedly delayed enforcement of a law forbidding TikTok from operating in the United States, a deal was eventually reached transferring control of the popular app to US ownership.
Democrats from the U.S. House of Representatives have released additional photos related to the case of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The images include, among other things, a Czech passport of a certain woman, whose details are blacked out, or Slovak diplomat and current advisor to Prime Minister Robert Fico, Miroslav Lajčák. The pictures are part of more than 95,000 photos the lawmakers received from Epstein's estate. The Epstein case, who committed suicide in prison in 2019, attracts significant media attention as this financier maintained close ties with, among others, current US President Donald Trump, former head of state Bill Clinton, or British Prince Andrew, reported Ceskenoviny.cz.

This move brings the brand one step closer to securing its long-term future in the United States. This came after a law approved last year required the American version of the app to be spun off from parent company ByteDance, or to be banned in the United States, wrote the television server CNN.

US President Donald Trump has signed an order that could reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug and open new possibilities for medical research. The change would move marijuana from its current classification as a Schedule I drug, along with heroin and LSD. Cannabis would instead be a Schedule III substance, like ketamine and some anabolic steroids. While the change in classification wouldn't allow the legalization of marijuana use, it could change the way this drug is regulated, informed the agency AP.
