Singer Lucie Bílá announced that she got married for the third time. This time, her chosen one is the former world champion in bench press and later fitness trainer Radek Filipi. This is not the only milestone in her life; in April, she celebrated her sixtieth birthday.
Lucie Bílá's wedding took place in March at the Holy Mountain in Příbram. She shared the happy news on her Instagram. She also released a new song, Pupy, related to the entire event. The music video for it is composed of footage from the wedding.
The relationship with Radek Filipi, who is Bílá's current husband, is by no means a chance affair. They have known each other for about ten years since he started working for her. The multiple-time winner of the Czech Nightingale met him at the renewed premiere of the musical Carmen. By then, Filipi had already had a successful sports career in bench press - an exercise focused on strengthening the chest and arms.
By that time, the artist, who is known in civilian life as Hana Zaňáková, had gone through several partners. From a long-term relationship with producer Petr Kratochvíl, she also has a son named Filip. Everything fell apart when Kratochvíl found Miss ČSFR 1992 Pavlína Babůrková, whom he later married.
In 2002, Bílá married trombonist Stanislav Penk. However, the marriage lasted only a year. She entered into marriage for the second time on her fortieth birthday in Milan, Italy, when she married singer Václav Noid Bárta. But they were only married for two years ... .
Another partner of the singer was businessman Petr Makovička, with whom she got together in 2009. She kept the relationship a secret for some time. Allegedly, she wanted to protect him and his ex-wife. Their infatuation lasted until 2015.
And although she met Filipi during this time, they first appeared in public only two years later. According to unconfirmed rumors, he had to persuade her for a long time before she even began a relationship with him.
She celebrated her sixtieth birthday at the beginning of April with only her closest ones.
“When I was at the peak of fame, I was terribly alone. I would never want to experience that again; I was battered by people and the media. Now I have my world, the theater, a restaurant, and a cultural house in Otvovice, and my family. I just need not to lose the people I'm growing old with."
she recently revealed to the Czech News Agency.
Apart from changes in her personal life, the legend of the domestic music scene is also incredibly busy professionally. Last fall, she released an album titled Ordinary Girl. This year, she's also preparing for another tour and a new show, where Filipi will reportedly make an appearance.
"At every concert, I ask people if they have a question, and they always ask if I have Rad'a with me, because they want to see him. So to let them see him, of course only for a moment, at the end of the show. It's a little cherry on top,"
stated the singer for the portal Super.cz.
The question still remains whether Bílá's marriage with a partner who is 18 years younger will last. After all, none of us can stop time. The artist remains optimistic nonetheless.
"We live in the age of retouching, but I try not to use it too much, although of course a small adjustment sometimes suits photos. What is far more important to me is the realization that in the fast pace of time, it's crucial not to surround yourself with people who drain your energy, but with those who fulfill you, inspire you, awaken passion in you, and enthusiasm for any of your life activities."
she told Deník.
After all, the fragility of marital bonds is quite common among many famous stars. Let's look at some of them. A well-known example was the marriage of singer Madonna, who had to pay her then-husband Guy Ritchie nearly ten million dollars for each year they spent together during their divorce proceedings in 2008. The amount eventually reached an unbelievable 75 million dollars, almost 2 billion Czech korunas!
In the domestic media, the relationship of former Miss World Taťána Kuchařová with singer Ondřej Gregor Brzobohatý is constantly being discussed, following their split in March 2022 after a five-year marriage. The drawn-out legal dispute between the former spouses was only recently concluded. Kuchařová had to apologize to Brzobohatý for false statements regarding his sexual orientation and also pay damages in the amount of 250,000 CZK.
