The Czech Republic admits an American suspected of Ebola infection. According to the Ministry of Health, he does not pose a risk to the Czech public, and procedures for similar situations are clearly set. Putin's visit to China takes place on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Sino-Russian Friendship Treaty signed in 2001. The aim is economic cooperation between the two countries and international policy.

Man Infected with Ebola Under Control, State Claims

The representative of the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention informed yesterday evening that one person with a high risk of Ebola infection is on their way to the Czech Republic. He is to be transported to the Bulovka University Hospital in Prague. According to the Ministry of Health, the American does not pose a risk to the Czech public, and the procedures for similar situations are clearly established, wrote the portal Ceskenoviny.cz.

Russia Seeks to Cooperate with China

Russian President Vladimir Putin landed in Beijing yesterday evening, where he will meet today with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. According to the Kremlin, both presidents plan to discuss economic cooperation between the two countries as well as "key international and regional issues." Putin's visit follows less than a week after the American President Donald Trump visited China. China and Russia are close economic and political partners, and their relations have deepened further since the start of Russia's extensive invasion of Ukraine in 2022, reported CNN.

The Company Scientifically Helped Hatch Chicks

Biotechnology company Colossal, which aims to resurrect extinct creatures, announced that it successfully hatched 26 live chicks in an artificial environment. However, this achievement was met with mixed reactions from scientists, commented the agency AP. The company had previously claimed to have genetically modified living animals to resemble extinct species, including long-haired mice and wolf pups.

It took auction house Christie's just a few dozen minutes this week to sell artworks valued at over $1.1 billion, breaking records for painter Jackson Pollock and sculptor Constantin Brancusi.
