Kennedy Center sparks controversy over Trump

A new wave of artists have announced that they are cancelling planned performances at the American Kennedy Center after its name was supplemented with that of Donald Trump. The American president has already accused artists for political activities because of this. An example is the jazz supergroup The Cookers, which announced that they will not participate in the A Jazz New Year’s Eve event. Other artists who refused to perform here include the dance group Doug Varone and Dancers or musician Chuck Redd, wrote the agency AP. The subject of criticism is the fact that this center in Washington is to be newly named the Trump and Kennedy Center. The decision was made by the administrative board, which was fully appointed by the current American president.
