Pavlína Pořízková with family

Karlovy Vary are slowly dimming their lights as this year's film festival heads towards its finale. Before we say a definitive goodbye to the colonnade, the last gowns remain. Milan Peroutka surprised with his companion and strolled through the town with his mother-in-law, while Klára Issová appeared as if she just stepped out from the bedroom. Who bid farewell to the festival in grand style and whose final fashion attempt didn't quite succeed?

Pavlína Pořízková as a Hollywood Diva

Model Pavlína Pořízková (61) chose a black gown for the final red carpet, in which she looked like a Hollywood diva. The corset bodice highlighted the décolleté and waist, while the long flowing skirt with a train added the necessary touch of drama to the outfit. The modest accessories also deserve big praise. A delicate necklace, earrings, and a light clutch let the dress stand out. And her silver waves? They were perhaps the best accessory of the whole evening. There's not much to criticize here.

Alžběta Malá and Diana Dulínková as Fashion Opposites

Actresses Alžběta Malá (29) and Diana Dulínková (31) showcased two completely different approaches on the red carpet. Malá opted for a pantsuit in a black and white combination, which she spiced up with exposed shoulders and a deep neckline. Narrow sunglasses added a bit of edge to the outfit, although for the ceremonial closing, the look might have seemed too casual. Dulínková, whom audiences may remember from the film Džob, on the other hand, chose a classic evening gown in a nude shade adorned with shimmering stones. The simple one-shoulder design suited her and beautifully stood out under the red carpet lights. In this elegance showdown, she emerged as the winner.

Martha Issová as a Gentle Bride

Actress Martha Issová (45) arrived alongside her husband David Ondříček (57) and, in a white gown, she resembled a bride. The corset bodice, long flowing skirt, and sheer fabric wrapped around her shoulders looked very romantic, perhaps even somewhat fairy-tale-like. The dress undoubtedly suited her; however, the question arises whether the white gown was too bridal for the ceremonial closing. David Ondříček stayed true to the classic style with a black suit and bow tie, though the ensemble was somewhat marred by shiny shoes, which at first glance appeared a bit too robust.

Marie Danči wore one of the most interesting outfits of the evening

Actress and model Marie Danči (30) arrived alongside her partner Vojtěch Vodochodský (32) and certainly did not stay in her partner's shadow. The powder pink gown caught attention mainly due to its uniquely designed corset bodice with prominent geometric detail, while the ruched skirt with a high slit added lightness and femininity to the outfit. Silver strappy sandals were a safe bet and did not disturb the overall impression. Vodochodský opted for a perfectly tailored tuxedo with a striking velvet bow tie, and together they were one of the best-coordinated couples of the evening.

Milan Peroutka Took His Mother-in-Law to the Red Carpet

Singer Milan Peroutka (36) did not head to the red carpet with his husband Dominik Roubínek this time, but his company was his mother-in-law Renata Roubínková Baierová. She is truly an inspiring woman, being the first female franchisee in the history of Czech McDonald’s. While she chose an elegant black gown with sheer sleeves and a striking necklace at the neck, Peroutka certainly did not keep a low profile. A black suit adorned with colorful beetles was among the most striking men's outfits of the evening, and the singer proved that he is not afraid of fashion. Eccentric? Definitely. Boring? Not at all. And it's just this kind of boldness that works on the red carpet.

Jeffrey Wright and his daughter bet on black

American actor Jeffrey Wright (60) arrived on the red carpet accompanied by his daughter Juno, and both opted for classic black. While the actor in a perfectly fitted tuxedo with a bowtie had almost nothing to go wrong, his daughter chose simple short dresses with thin straps, which might have seemed a bit too ordinary for a festive closure. Black sandals with low heels did not enhance the final impression much. For a casual summer party, the outfit would work great, but alongside grand evening gowns on the red carpet, it somewhat faded away.

Klára Issová like in a Nightgown

Actress Klára Issová (47) this time opted for pink satin dresses that resembled a luxurious nightgown more than anything else. The lace neckline, thin straps, and shiny material seemed more suited for the bedroom than a formal red carpet event. The situation wasn't much improved by the white clutch, which didn't quite match the delicate shade of the dress. Issová is a beautiful woman and pink suits her, but this time her outfit felt a bit like a mishap among the grand evening gowns.

Petr Lněnička and partner opted for classic style

Actor Petr Lněnička (46) chose a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie for the grand finale, where nothing could go wrong. However, much more attention was captured by his partner in a bright red strapless gown with a long train. The striking color suited her and was perfect for the red carpet, but the loose cut of the dress unnecessarily concealed her figure and appeared somewhat shapeless. Emphasizing the waist more could have made a significantly more impressive effect.
