Andrej Babiš will today gradually introduce the new ministers to their offices after President Petr Pavel appoints the government. The majority of retailers are reporting a rise in sales during the pre-Christmas period. According to many of them, purchases are increasing by tens of percent, especially during weekends.
President Pavel will appoint the government of Prime Minister Andrej Babis today, composed of ministers from ANO, SPD and the Motorists, who will replace the current resigned cabinet of Petr Fiala. Thus, Babis will return to power almost exactly four years later. In the government, ANO will hold eight seats besides the prime minister, SPD will have three ministers and the Motorists four. The cabinet will rely on the majority of 108 seats in the Chamber of Deputies, it should ask for confidence on January 13. The new cabinet will not take up its duties in full. The proposal lacked the name of Motorist MP Filip Türk in the final nomination, noted the website Ceskenoviny.cz.
Pre-Christmas shopping during the third Advent weekend rose again, the attendance and sales of domestic stores often soared by tens of percent compared to the previous weekend. The sales trend is so far copying last year according to most retailers. Demand is growing especially for groceries, electronics or toys, reported the server Ceskenoviny.cz. Increased customer interest before Christmas is reported for example also by sellers of sports or erotic goods.
"This weekend we are witnessing the strongest shopping peaks,"
said Globus spokeswoman Aneta Turnovská. According to her, the number of customers has doubled compared to a regular weekend.

Approximately 40 percent of buyers in the United States also state that they do not own a turntable, noted James Duvall, chief analyst and head of the entertainment division at Futuresource Consulting. 56 percent of fans like vinyl records because of their aesthetic aspect. 37 percent therefore also just use them for home decoration, reported CNN.
