An evening full of elegance and emotions was hosted by the Forum Karlín in Prague, where the 16th finale of the MISS CZECH REPUBLIC 2025 competition took place. The title of the new beauty queen and Czech Miss World was won by Linda Górecká, a native of Ostrava, who despite not having any modeling experience so far, captivated the jury from the start with her charisma and natural expression. What does the win mean for her, will she give up her career as a preschool teacher and how does she perceive financial literacy, she revealed in an exclusive interview.
I feel wonderful. I have incredibly beautiful feelings inside me, because I really wanted to be the winner of Miss Czech Republic and today my wish came true.
I must say that it is positive, because I see nothing wrong with it and I like the way it is going.
As I haven't been in media like this before, this journey is just starting for me now. We will be able to judge later, but I am certainly looking forward to it.
I have to say, considering that I am from far away and I'm not from Prague, the traveling was a bit more challenging for me, but I think I handled it as best as I could.
Now it will be perfect!
I definitely plan to, yes.
I think it's mainly about communication. If he wanted to stay in Ostrava, then it would certainly be Ostrava first and then Prague, but somehow we would communicate that.
It didn't affect us directly. However, I'm from a small town, and we did have floods there, and my family and I were distributing tea, strudels, and we were helping out.
I believe that it is very important for children to learn financial literacy, as it is really crucial in today's time.
I would mainly like to be a preschool teacher, so if there was, of course, a possibility to enforce this, then certainly yes.
I don't invest in anything. The most I invest is my time for the family, and mainly for what I enjoy.
What intrigued me the most was how the whole thing works. I'm glad we could experience it firsthand, what it looks like there, and chat with the governor.
I was surprised by how much responsibility is needed there for a person to function and work.
Next week I am attending media week, which I am very much looking forward to. Then I am leaving with the Miss Czech Republic team to India for Miss World, where we are going to support Adélka Štroffeková, last year's winner.
I think there is no need to wait, because Miss World is really a prestigious competition that requires a lot of preparation. Just as I gave everything I could to Miss Czech Republic, I will also give it to Miss World.
I'm really rooting for you and thank you for the interview.
