Martina Pártlová

With the advent of Advent, the life of the singer and presenter Martina Pártlová turns into a cocktail of performances, family preparations, and humor that never leaves her. We caught her at a press conference for the Christmas concert in the O2 Arena, where she is also performing this year. Although fans know her from the stage and from the former project 3v1, at home she has perfectly ordinary worries - wrapping gifts, negotiating about Christmas films, and finding a quiet moment among duties. In the interview, she revealed who she would not entrust with wrapping presents, why she has banned Three Nuts for Cinderella, and how she perceives the public pressure on opinions of famous personalities. In addition to that, in 2025 she is intensively devoting herself to her own music, performing and family life.

Stress-free Christmas? "We adults don't give each other gifts anymore"

For many, a symbol of pre-Christmas rush, for her more an opportunity to slow down - at least a little. Martina Pártlová admits with a smile in an interview that she has already sorted out most of the gifts.

"I already have gifts for most of the family. We've agreed with my mom, sister and the wider family that we won't be giving gifts, we're too old for that. I think we all have everything," she explains. The only exceptions are her daughter Stela and partner Pepa.

And who definitely can't wrap gifts at their home?

"Pepa. And my mom. Sorry, mom," she adds with a laugh.

It can't be done without Cinderella, but it's forbidden at home

For Pártlová, Christmas is also about traditional movies - at least for her. However, her partner is clear about it.

"Three Nuts for Cinderella. But I'm not allowed to watch them. Pepa hates them, I don't know why, probably because it's a different vintage," the singer describes amusingly.

Luxury? "Being healthy and with family"

When it comes to the concept of luxury, no expensive handbags or exotic vacations. Martina is quite clear:

"Being with the whole family, being healthy."
And it is the family that occupies most of her time today - be it at home, on the road, or while filming.

Time for yourself? "What is that exactly?"

Martina has never hidden that between work, motherhood and other projects, her calendar is full. Thus, the question of whether she is able to make time for herself only provokes her typical ironic smile:

"What is time for oneself?"

She responds to a clarification ("rest, relax") with just a brief and exact:

"Well, that's why I'm asking what that is. I don't know."

She is clear between politics and business: "A billion-dollar business, for God's sake!"

If she had to choose between a significant political position and business, she wouldn't hesitate for a second.

"A billion-dollar business, for God's sake! No one wants to be a politician, right?"

And since public faces often face pressure to speak about politics, Martina also talks about her boundary.

"As soon as we start speaking about politics, I get such unpleasant messages saying that I should shut up, step in line, sing, and only shake my butt. So I have those boundaries. I don't really get into that."

On Instagram, however, she doesn't hide who she's rooting for - she just doesn't dictate what anyone should do.

And respond to comments?

"Never."

What she's doing now: tour, new single, and the ordinary reality of 2025

After the end of the 3v1 project, Martina Pártlová fully plunged into her own work. The year 2025 is one of the busiest for her - and at the same time the most sincerely civilian.

In the fall, she embarked on a big tour "First and Last?", during which she visited 17 Czech and Moravian cities. On stages, she represented a cross-section of her previous work, as well as new pieces planned for an upcoming album. The tour had a strongly personal atmosphere, and fans appreciated her humor and openness, which is so typical for her.

In addition to performing, she also released a new music video and single "Furt něco" in October. It accurately describes the reality of many women - the endless carousel of duties, work, childcare, household chores and the effort to find some time for themselves. In the video, Pártlová appears just as people love her: sincere, slightly tired, but above it all and with a sense of humor that can cushion daily chaos. It's with this approach that she got even closer to her fans in 2025.

At the same time, she openly talks about not wanting a second child and that even a wedding is not planned. She arranges her career so that she can still be with her daughter Stella as much as possible, and even though she is professionally active, travel no longer attracts her as much as before. Thus, 2025 brings more balance than a pursuit of career records.

Christmas in her style: peace, humor and no politics

Christmas peace according to Martina Pártlová does not mean perfect cookies or twenty gifts under the tree. Instead, it's a few simple ingredients: family, health, and humor which accompany her at every stage of life.

And even though Cinderella is banned this year, one thing is for sure - her naturalness and wit will be a part of the festive atmosphere at home and among her fans.
