The number of flood victims in Sri Lanka has risen to more than 330
In Sri Lanka, they continue to struggle with floods in parts of the capital city of Colombo. These are the result of a strong cyclone that left devastation in the city. The local Disaster Management Center said on Sunday that almost 400 people are still missing. It also warned that heavy rains are expected in the coming days. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese married his partner Jodie Haydon in a secret ceremony held in his official Canberra residence over the weekend. This makes him the first prime minister in the 124-year history of Australia's federal government to marry while serving. The couple was married before about 60 guests, including several government ministers, during an afternoon ceremony at The Lodge complex. The media did not mention the event in advance. Haydon, who works in finance, met Albanese at a business dinner in Melbourne in 2020, according to the agency AP.
