Floods in Texas have claimed 82 lives and the threat continues
According to authorities, at least 82 people have died in connection with flash floods that hit central Texas. Among them are at least 28 children in Kerr County, where 10 girls and one camp counselor from Mystic camp are still missing. The risk of further areas being flooded continues.
Greg Abbott told CNN that flash floods are still a risk in some parts of Texas and that more rain is expected in some areas. Authorities have urged residents of the town of Hunt in Kerr County to move to higher ground this afternoon due to possible floods.
According to Rutte, in the event of a war over Taiwan, China would want a Russian attack on European NATO countries
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned of the danger of a Russian attack on European NATO countries. Such an attack could be supported by China in the event of a conflict with the US over Taiwan. The drone war between Russia and Ukraine is intensifying more and more
Shortly after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced agreements with Western partners that would allow Kiev to increase drone production, Russia and Ukraine hit each other with hundreds of drones on Sunday, disrupting Russian air traffic. Russian air defence shot down 120 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft and another 39 before 2 p.m. Moscow time (1100 GMT) on Sunday, the Russian Ministry of Defence reported. The attack was preceded by the dispatch of a large number of drones from Russia to Kiev, the AP agency reported.
Musk founded a new party
Elon Musk declared that, after a dispute with President Donald Trump, he is following through on his threat and is founding a new political party. In response to the president's sweeping tax cut law, he announced the establishment of the America Party.
Musk, who was once Trump's ally at the head of a cost-cutting agency known as the Department of Government Efficiency, parted ways with the Republican president over his law that was signed on Friday. When the law was going through Congress, Musk threatened that if "this insane spending law passes", he would establish "The American Party," reported AP agency .
