Iran wants to stop fighting with Israel
The fighting between Israel and Iran has so far claimed at least 248 victims, mostly civilians, including 24 in Israel. On Friday, its government escalated the long-term conflict, justifying this by saying that it is trying to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Tehran is trying to stop the fighting through certain Arab countries and US President Donald Trump. Countries on the eastern flank of Europe are preparing hospitals for war
European countries on the eastern flank of NATO are adjusting protocols for crisis situations so that their healthcare facilities are prepared for a possible war with Russia. Louvre employees can't handle the tourist rush, they've started to strike
The Parisian Louvre remained closed for most of yesterday. Museum employees were on strike because they reportedly can no longer handle the onslaught of crowds of people who come here every day. The Louvre has become a symbol of the global tourism industry. While such magnets, like Italian Venice or the Greek Acropolis, try to limit the crowds of visitors, the most visited museum in the world is entering a phase where it can no longer cope with the influx of interested parties, the agency AP warned.
Four people were sentenced for hate gesture towards Real Madrid star
A Madrid court handed down suspended prison sentences ranging from 14 to 22 months to four people after they were found guilty of hate crime. They were involved in hanging a banner reading "Madrid hates Real" and inflating a black effigy in a replica of the Brazilian jersey with the number 20, which belongs to Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior, in 2023, reported Al Jazeera.
