Israel insists on an agreement with Hamas

Based on the truce agreement, which came into effect on October 10, Hamas and its allies were to release all live hostages and return the bodies of all 28 deceased hostages within 72 hours. However, 13 bodies still remain in Gaza. Trump's efforts for an early meeting with Putin are complicated, as the preparatory meeting of US and Russian foreign ministers probably will not take place this week. According to Ukraine, Russia is doing everything to avoid diplomacy.

Israel identified the bodies of two more hostages

They are 38-year-old Tamir Adar, killed in a Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, and 85-year-old Arye Zalmanovic, who was kidnapped and died in captivity. Both were from the kibbutz Nir Oz. So now there are 13 dead hostages remaining in the Gaza Strip. Zelensky: Russia lost interest in diplomacy after the missile decision was postponed

Russia almost automatically began to have lesser interest in diplomacy after the decision of the U.S. administration to provide long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine was postponed. This was pointed out tonight by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He added that the discussion about the US missiles with a flat trajectory proved to be a strong investment in diplomacy. A meeting of the presidents of the United States and Russia is not planned in the immediate term, said an unnamed high representative of the White House yesterday, as reported byCeskenoviny.cz.

US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping are expected to meet on the sidelines of the talks. Although UN resolutions prohibit North Korea from conducting ballistic tests, the country has decided to take this step for the fifth time this year.

NASA Chief hints that SpaceX could be excluded from the Moon mission

NASA could, in this decade, retire SpaceX and choose another company to send its astronauts to the Moon, indicated the acting head of the space agency, Sean Duffy. In this context, he stressed that SpaceX, which has a contract worth 2.9 billion dollars for the supply of the lunar module, with which astronauts would fly to the surface of the Moon, is falling behind schedule and potentially thwarting NASA's efforts to return people to the Moon before China. This happens amid new space races between the two powers, as pointed out by CNN.
