On Sunday in southern Spain, a high-speed train derailed, jumped onto the opposite track and collided with an oncoming train. The accident claimed at least 21 lives and dozens of injured, said the Spanish Minister of Transport according to the agency AP. The rear part of the evening train traveling from Malaga to Madrid with about 300 passengers derailed near Córdoba at 19:45 and collided with a train with about 200 passengers traveling from Madrid to Huelva, another city in the south of Spain.
The Czech tourist returned after fifteen months spent in a Venezuelan prison on suspicion of plotting an assassination attempt on the former ruler of the state, Nicholas Maduro. His parents were waiting for him at the airport in Prague where the special flight with the liberated Czech landed on Sunday night. According to Czech diplomacy, the suspicion of a planned assassination on Maduro is considered absurd, reported ČTK.
