According to him, it is now necessary to conclude an agreement with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump threatens to speed up the process of introducing tariffs on countries that he is currently negotiating with.

Donald Trump stated that he believes that the United States have an agreement with Russia to end the war in Ukraine. Now, it remains to conclude the agreement with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, added Trump.
"I think we've agreed with Russia. We need to agree with Zelensky. I thought negotiations with him would be easier, but so far they've been harder,"
Trump said. The White House boss also added that he is not leaning towards either Russia or Ukraine, but that he wants to conclude a deal and end the war. He further stated that he will probably meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin after his trip to the Middle East in mid-May, wrote the server Ceskenoviny.cz.
Trump threatens to accelerate the introduction of new tariffs
US President Donald Trump said he could re-impose "reciprocal" tariffs on some countries within two or three weeks. He suspended their validity on April 9 for 90 days so that individual countries could negotiate with his administration. In case of their introduction, this could mean a potentially significant escalation of the global trade war, which could cause a global recession. Tariffs could then increase by up to 50 percent. The exception is China, on which the Trump administration imposed a 145 percent tariff, reported CNN.
India suspends relations with Pakistan
India has closed the border crossing with Pakistan and suspended the water sharing agreement. It accused its neighbor of an attack by militants, in which 26 people died in the Indian part of Kashmir, reported the agency AP. Unidentified gunmen on Tuesday opened fire on a group of tourists. It is the worst attack in recent years, which was targeted at civilians in this restless region. The main border crossing is to be closed until "Pakistan credibly and irrevocably renounces its support for cross-border terrorism."
