The Toronto Film Festival brought some novelties that arouse pleasure in Czech film fans as well. Also a lot of gossip, whispering, and provocative clothing. What was the most interesting thing to see and hear at the film festival?
Emily Blunt had the utmost elegance
Is it elegant, or too much? Emily Blunt introduced the movie Thresher (2025), which will premiere in our cinemas on 11.13.2025.
Since the main star of the film Dwayne Johnson, caught most attention, his acting colleague, Emily Blunt, left nothing to chance. She chose a all-black outfit, topped with a bare top.
A barely visible bra had a sharp cut at the bottom, which covered just right. The lace and mesh part covering the belly seamlessly transitioned to elegant trousers. The back hid a surprise. Only black horizontal and crossing straps. Her colleagues were also charmed by her back.

The Toronto Film Festival also had Czech representation. On the red carpet shone Anna Geislerová.
She came to present the movie drama & Sons, which was directed by Pablo Trapero. The Czech actress starred in the film aside from such stars as Dominic West, Bill Nighy or Johnny Flynn. The movie received positive reviews, as well as the elegant dress that the Czech star had on. Moreover, she is one of the few stars who really knows how to international film festivals. She shone this year also in Venice.
