Fair enough: Fiala in Ostrava and in Prague. The prime minister stirs emotions during the campaign, anyone who's surprised, they've lived on Mars up till now.
Petr Fiala caused an uproar in Ostrava among his opponents, which was not without minor incidents. The past of election campaigns knows a whole range of similar matters. Politics is not just sitting in a comfortable office or sleepily raising your hand in Parliament. It also involves contact with voters and as it is known, they are different. Polite and rude, big and small, and they also like some politicians and hate others from the heart.
With the election campaign of Petr Fiala came something that wasn't really expected from the king of dry politics of recent years at first glance. Wherever the prime minister goes, there is a buzz. In fact, there is nothing surprising about it. Fiala did not lead a permanent campaign during his premiership, so there weren't many opportunities to watch him in direct confrontation with citizens.
However, before the election, he had no other choice, unless he wants to retire from politics. Or rather academic, where in case of election failure he will have to go anyway. In the green-orange halls, on amateur shots now images from them are flooding the social networks, his supporters clap and opponents demonstratively sit or interrupt.
There have indeed appeared insane minds, believing that everywhere is just staged extras and the entire thing is a theater organized by the ODS. Regional party members unabashedly appear in the auditorium. Of course. Those who think that such events are primarily visited by sports fans of regional clubs who are not interested in politics, yet, out of the blue, they want to visit a similar event, are probably not quite sane.
The ODS has 11,070 members, the People's Party, as the party with the largest membership base, has over 18,000 members and the TOP 09 has some too. The leader of the coalition of these parties probably does not have breakfast (lunch, dinner) every other day with each of them and the vast majority of them must only know him from television. Among these people, we must look for the most serious visitors to a regional tour by a politician.
Supporters of the ANO movement are also looking forward to Andrej Babiš's caravan. There are fewer party members there, but it must be noted that the party has only slightly more members than TOP 09, specifically 2,710, so there is less potential in the regions for them to attend events of the top party leaders, but there are still plenty of them there. No one officially wondered about it.
At the same time, people often ask Fiala uncomfortable questions in the halls. Of course, the bitcoin case dominates the topics. Just as the prime minister was focusing on his office duties and not producing after election rallies, so he neglected to kick out members from the government who harm him with cases. And so he will hear about it now because of Blažek.
If someone thinks that critics are planted actors even in the plenary, they might have paranoia. Even though it's true that sometimes the prime minister gets a seemingly critical question that plays into his hands.
