To be fair: Elon Musk is the king of emission allowances

Elon Musk and Donald Trump

Emission permits in the Czech Republic certainly do not have the reputation of a brilliant invention for improving the state of the environment. They are not such a gem, but that is their primary purpose. The domestic political debate over them is overwhelmingly negative, even turning into fear, as if they were a diabolical tool. However, the richest person in the world approaches them from a completely different position and trades with them actively.

The breakdown in the relationship between Elon Musk and Donald Trump at first glance appeared to be an unexpected breakdown in an ideal relationship, where business genes fueled a common passion, rooted in a mutual fascination with authoritarianism. But only one boss can sit at the top (i.e. the only rooster in the junkyard).

So love began to fall apart. As in the case of all bizarre manifestations of Trump's presidency, everything can be different than it appears at first glance. Even in this case, speculation arises that the insults on social networks between Trump and Musk are just an ingenious charade following higher goals.

However, Occam's Razor rule says that things are as they appear. Similarly, it was with Trump's brilliantly simple plan to end the war in Ukraine. Reality transformed Trump's self-praise, brilliant negotiation into a mere charade with zero direct impacts on the situation regarding the dying soldiers and civilians in Ukraine.

A simple apple of discord between Musk and Trump was the engagement of the richest man on the planet in environmental technologies. Everyone knows Tesla, the largest producer of electric cars, which does not produce cars with conventional drives. However, Musk also engages in solar energies, for example.

On the contrary, Trump wants to cancel subsidies for these products and conservatively turns to the burning of minerals by calling for intensive drilling (i.e. oil extraction).
