The end of the year is slowly approaching and so we bring you a look back at those, which were very hard to overlook in the year 2025. Some revived the music scene, others the film scene, someone essentially shook the whole world and the others? So the list would not only be about melting over the brilliant moves of these personalities, we allowed ourselves to add the less successful ones. In conclusion, we will also look back at the Czech scene, where we were clear in our selection.

We begin with a less successful endeavor and the well-known actress Sydney Sweeney dominated this category with ease. She was seen everywhere this year. She played the lead role in a highly anticipated biographical film, a teaser for the third series of the Euphoria series, which made the actress famous, came out and much more. So you ask, what's the problem? The actress established a collaboration with the American Eagle brand, which filmed a problematic ad and campaign with her. The wordplay of jeans and genes didn't go down well with the world at all and many people mentioned that it smelled of fascism and racial superiority. All this could be very quickly apologized for in one sentence, but Sydney decided to remain silent. The fact that she is a Republican and received praise from President Trump also did not please the fans. Now her colleague Zendaya refuses to show her at the Euphoria promo and things are not looking great for Sydney. Such publicity does not always pay off.

But this year two different worlds came together and sports and music fans started talking. The singer's current partner is Travis Kelce, who you might know as a very successful American football player for the Kansas City Chiefs. And it was he who asked the famous singer to marry him. They announced it with romantic photos on their Instagram with a caption.

So, in 2025 she was definitely our star.
