/Commentary/ Trump, with a slap in the face to American society, was definitely right, and Americans desperately need it, unless their ultimate model has become totalitarian communist China.

Show at the Superbowl was judged by Trump as a slap in the face of the USA. Americans needed it already.

Bad Bunny presented his Grammy award to a boy named Liam Ramos.

While the events on the field among the muscular athletes didn't bring much tension and ended with a decisive result for the Seattle Seahawks, who firmly blocked the possibility of a record seventh Super Bowl victory, the halftime show with Bad Bunny's provocative performance did not disappoint and even annoyed President Trump.

The team from Boston, the New England Patriots, along with the Pittsburgh Steelers, is the most successful in the history of American football, as both teams can boast six Lombardi Trophy wins. During the last game, the Patriots had a unique opportunity to achieve a record-breaking seventh victory in the club's history.

However, by halftime, few would have bet on them. Although they were only trailing 9-0, which can easily be overturned in American football, their almost nonexistent opportunities to remain on the opponent's half hinted that the team had mishandled the historic opportunity and would certainly not handle the opponent's defense with caution.

Trump's Slap in the Face of the USA

The only chance was if the coach slapped them around a bit during the halftime break to wake them up and get them to carry the oblong ball into the end zone as if they didn't know how to play America's number one national sport. And slapping did occur. Just in a slightly different manner.

As usual, more attention was drawn to the halftime performance than to the sports competition. In American show business, it is one of the most prestigious events and only top-tier stars can participate in a performance with elaborate choreography. The main protagonist of the performance, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, captivated the world and President Trump immediately reacted with a "slap in the face of our country."

"It doesn't make sense, it's an insult to the greatness of America and it doesn't match our standards of success, creativity, or excellence. Nobody understands a word of what that person is saying, and the dance is disgusting, especially for small children who watch it all over the United States and around the world,"

commented Donald Trump on social media about the performance, as The Hill reminded.

The theme of the performance was love, which isn't the most original song motif, but the true spice was added by an actual wedding ceremony in the middle of the show. However, Bad Bunny represents Latin American newcomers to the USA, even though Puerto Rico is part of the USA and the rapper is therefore a US citizen by birth. When he received a Grammy award last week, he spoke out against Trump’s anti-immigrant ICE policy. As is known, its agents fired at American demonstrators without it causing Trump any more concern.

ICE Didn't Come for Bad Bunny, Many Bet on It

Donald Trump simply has pretty clear ideas about the cultural scene in the USA. Last week, he would have liked to name Dulles International Airport after himself, as well as Penn Station in New York, one of the busiest stations in the world, which is just about enough to satisfy the ego of the American president.

Awarding the Nobel Prize is a natural expectation for Trump, and without joking, he certainly wouldn't mind receiving a Grammy, which Bad Bunny received. During a reality show with elements of a halftime performance, he gave it to five-year-old Liam Ramos, who went through migrant detention, even though he was born in the USA.

A wedding broadcast live and a prestigious award given to a small boy could have been spiced up with an even wilder action. At least that's what betters thought, as they didn't hesitate to place their money on the chance that ICE would arrest the rapper right during the performance. He has the skin tone for it, and ICE agents don't hesitate.

Trump was certainly right with a slap in the face of American society, and Americans definitely need it by now, unless their role model has become the totalitarian communist China, where only one opinion is allowed, there is only one party, and the leader's name is revered at every opportunity.
