Fashion at Osmany Laffita's show: Průšová as queen of the night, Grossová in a dress with her own face
When Osmany Laffita (61) invites guests to a big fashion show, it's hard to expect them to arrive in the clothes they wore in the morning to pick up bread rolls. In Prague's Letňany, there was glitter, revealing outfits and experimentation. And while some knew exactly when to stop, others apparently told themselves before leaving that one more striking accessory can always fit in.

Kateřina Průšová: Strict Ruler of the Evening
If a queen of the evening were to be crowned at the fashion show, model Kateřina Průšová (42) could head straight for the tiara. The black corset with a wide belt perfectly outlined her silhouette, and the long skirt with sheer sections added lightness that its structured top needed. The subtle red details also beautifully connected with the bold lipstick.
Průšová correctly judged that such a dress needed no further help. She pulled her hair back, left jewelry aside, and didn't try to rescue the whole look with a giant handbag, as sometimes happens at similar events. The outfit is dramatic, but we still see mainly the woman wearing it. This is what evening boldness looks like when the wearer keeps it under control.
Natálie Grossová: She Brought Her Own Companion on Her Dress
Singer Natálie Grossová (24) didn't need a friend for the party this time. She brought one directly on her dress. A giant portrait of a woman in sunglasses takes up almost the entire design and her gaze is so striking that it even rivals Grossová in the photographs at times. The shimmering fringe on the shoulders was a pleasant detail, though, and perfectly suited for such an event.
At a similar fashion show, this idea would find its place. The singer correctly omitted prominent jewelry and let the print do the work. Nevertheless, the question arises whether the design wouldn't benefit from a somewhat longer and better-shaped skirt. Now it looks as if the designer devoted all attention to the upper half and was already rushing to the next meeting when working on the lower part. However, Grossová collected points for originality without much difficulty.
Zuzana Belohorcová: A jacket that could fit two people
TV presenter Zuzana Belohorcová (50) left her figure-hugging dresses at home and pulled out a blazer that claimed a good chunk of the red carpet for itself. The wide shoulders and loose cut give it authority. The white blouse with a high ruffled collar, meanwhile, prevents the whole look from appearing like a borrowed office suit.
The idea is good and suits Belohorcová. Only the blouse peeking out deep below the blazer creates another layer that unnecessarily drags the silhouette downward. However, there's no doubt this is a confident outfit from a woman who this time didn't need to show her legs to attract attention. And that speaks to her self-confidence, which she complemented with a smile. One she shared generously throughout the evening.
Kateřina Kaira Hrachovcová: Straight to the Fashion Show from a Rock Club
Former actress and tattoo artist Kaira Hrachovcová (52) doesn't change herself even for a fashion show. She wore a black leather jacket, put on large glasses and with red lipstick reminded us that even a simple outfit can have its own opinion. Short hair gives it flair that might have been completely lost with long locks.
The man by her side chose a denim jacket and pants with a shirt and tie in between. As if he hesitated in the morning between a concert and a business meeting, and finally decided to make it to both. Although the couple isn't color or style coordinated, no one can overlook them. Simply put, it works very well for them together. Each has their own style and neither looks like the other persuaded them to dress at the last minute.
Tereza Pergnerová: Sparkle That Couldn't Be Overlooked
Among the corsets, leather, and exposed hips, there was also room for calmer elegance. The presenter Tereza Pergnerová (52) chose a dark trouser suit with a subtle sheen, whose greatest ornament is a massive silver necklace. The same metallic tone returns on the bracelet and shoes. Thanks to this, the jewelry doesn't look like things she put on while leaving the house, but as a thoughtful part of the outfit. However, the jacket could have a somewhat more defined waist. Its straight cut actually tends to hide the figure. But the ensemble has something that some bolder models lacked. Confidence, a touch of mystery. This lady didn't have to compete with her clothes for attention. She let a single statement piece of jewelry shine and knew exactly why.

Vendula Pizingerová: When Black Refuses to Be Inconspicuous
President of the Kapka naděje Foundation Fund Vendula Pizingerová (54) is wearing black, but she definitely won't hide in the corner in it. Glittery embellishments, sheer sleeves, exposed legs, and statement shoes all demand attention at once. The result is an outfit that could work beautifully with light in person with every step. At first glance, however, the individual layers are competing somewhat for attention.
The strongest part is the decorated top. It would be worth building the entire model around it and calming down the rest. However, Pizingerová added eye-catching shoes to it, so the eye doesn't know where to look first for a while. The red lipstick, on the other hand, works excellently. Among all the black and shiny elements, it's exactly that colorful detail the overall look needed.
Krystyna Pyszko: Green is the new black
The emerald dress of model Krystyna Pyszko (27) belongs to models that don't get a chance to fade into the background. The color shines, the fabric folds beautifully into pleats, and the wide skirt directly invites the wearer to play it up a bit while posing. The exposed hips and deep neckline could be too much on their own, but a pair of narrow glittering straps gives the dress a solid structure.
Pyszko chose dark makeup and sleek hair to go with them. Thanks to this, she doesn't look like a fairy-tale princess who got lost on her way to the ball, but like a confident model ready for an evening show. This is one of those cases where a bold cut, striking color, and shine truly pull together. Definitely one of the winning outfits.
Natali Ruden: A Dress from Another Galaxy
Fashion designer Natali Ruden (59) arrived in an outfit that looks as if it descended onto the runway from a fashion sci-fi film. The blue fabric shimmers, one shoulder has a sharp shape, and the asymmetrical hem doesn't allow the eye to rest for a moment. Long black gloves add just the right amount of drama. From a fashion designer, it would be disappointing if she showed up in an understated sheath dress anyway.
Ruden showed one of the most striking models at the fashion show and there was definitely something to look at.
Lenka and David Limberský: She's a fashion western, he's a rock concert
Model Lenka Limberská (42) opted for a red leather ensemble, which the color alone would have ensured enough attention. However, she added a black hat, so the outfit gained a touch of fashion western. The white collar and cuffs break it up nicely. Without them, there would be too much red surface. The hat is a bold finishing touch, although it can't be overlooked that it's already competing with the jacket for the main role. Footballer David Limberský (42) next to her reached for a dark jacket and t-shirt with a large skull. It looks like he could easily move on to a concert after the fashion show without having to change. His wife could meanwhile go straight out on stage. As a couple, they don't match particularly well, but each of them came with a clear idea of what such an evening should look like. It just seems they didn't agree this time.
