American pop star Taylor Swift married American football player Travis Kelce. The buzz it caused was grand even by United States standards. One example of it all - the celebration took place in the legendary New York arena Madison Square Garden for about a thousand celebrities. Several surrounding streets had to be closed because of this.
In media headlines, Taylor Swift has been mentioned for many reasons. Not only because of her musical work, but also due to her social impacts. A concert by this artist in Seattle, USA, caused tremors equivalent to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake, according to a local seismologist. Even the White House spokesperson was asked about her relationship with Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift's career in the show business has lasted for more than 20 years. During this time, she has embraced various genre nuances and performance styles, yet she continues to maintain immense popularity. In 2023, she was named Time magazine's Person of the Year. Her music was also the best-selling last year according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, for the sixth time. Travis Kelce, who is also 36 years old, won three Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs - in 2019, 2022, and 2023.

Months of speculation and tens of millions of social media interactions preceded everything, trying to determine when and where the whole event would take place. The couple only officially confirmed their relationship two years ago.
“Most decisions are influenced by the wedding budget. But what if there are no limits? Then dream weddings arise, similar to those we see with personalities like Taylor Swift or Leonie Hanne,”
Weinert further stated.
She was referring, among other things, to fashion influencer Leonie Hanne, who celebrated her wedding with a grand ceremony on the French Riviera with her long-term partner after a civil ceremony in London in May, where the bride dazzled in a dress by Dolce & Gabbana.
Event for the Masses
In the vicinity of Madison Square Garden, where the Taylor Swift event finally took place on Friday, there was an unusually bustling activity before the announcement of the entire event. Many vehicles, including dark limousines, were allowed into the area, which is otherwise closed off by the police.
Among the guests at the wedding of the American pop star and American football player Travis Kelce were singers Camila Cabello and Jennifer Lopez, actors Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Jason Sudeikis, and Jessica Alba, director Steven Spielberg, models Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid, or American football players JuJu Smith-Schuster from the New York Giants team and Cooper Kupp from the Seattle Seahawks.

The wedding guests' outfits were from Christian Dior and designer Jonathan Anderson. A spokesperson for the brand confirmed that Anderson designed the wedding outfits and stated that they were created in Paris in "close collaboration with the couple." The shoes were custom-made by the brand Christian Louboutin. Swift was also wearing jewelry from Cartier.
The iconic Empire State Building lit up in blue to present the singer's wish to bring "something blue" for this big day.
The couple did not have a traditional group of bridesmaids. The role of the main witness was taken by the singer's brother, Austin Swift, and the role of the main witness on the groom's side was taken by his brother, Jason Kelce.
