The average old-age pension should thus increase by 668 crowns to 21,786 crowns.
The pension regulation also introduces minimum pensions, old-age pensions cannot be less than 9,800 crowns. The Czech Social Security Administration paid old-age, disability and survivor's pensions to 2.83 million people at the end of June. The cabinet should also decide on increasing supplements to pensions for resistors, prisoners of the communist regime and their survivors, by 2.6 percent, said the portal Ceskenoviny.cz.
