Early bird: Taiwanese Nvidia surpassed Apple and reached 4 trillion. The government banned DeepSeek in public administration.

  On Wednesday, Nvidia briefly reached a market value of 4 trillion dollars, becoming the first publicly traded company to reach this milestone. Nvidia's shares rose 2.76% on Wednesday after the market opened, reaching a record value that pushed their market value beyond the 4 trillion dollar mark. Nvidia then lowered its gains, but ended the day up 1.8%, bringing the company's market value just below 4 trillion dollars.  Nvidia surpassed Apple and Microsoft at the 4 trillion USD mark. Apple entered this year as the world's most valuable company with a worth of just around 3.9 trillion dollars, before tumbling in recent months in connection with President Donald Trump's tariff confusion. Nvidia and Microsoft have been swapping places as the world's most valuable company in recent months, until Nvidia went ahead of it and became the first to reach the 4 trillion dollar mark.
