Donald Trump would like a complete end to Russian oil in Europe
The American president joined representatives of the so-called coalition of the willing from European countries, who negotiated in the Elysee Palace about security guarantees for Ukraine. Trump promised that he will specify security guarantees from the USA next week. At the same time, during this communication according to the agency Reuters he stated that European states should completely cut themselves off from supplies of Russian oil. It's precisely this that Russians are financing the war in Ukraine. Since the onset of Russian aggression, the amount of Russian oil supplied to Europe has significantly dropped, however, some states, e.g. Slovakia strive to restore these deliveries.

The representatives of the ANO movement officially presented the party's programme at a meeting in Ostrava. They presented a wide range of promises in it, including a very significant increase in public expenditure and tax cuts, especially for large corporate corporations.
"Among the most expensive items would be a reduction in corporate tax, transferring the financing of public media to the state budget, a promised 75,000 crowns for teachers or interest-free housing loans. Over the decade, the cost would rise to hundreds of billions of crowns annually, mainly due to the announced adjustments of the parameters of the pension system,"
The costs were calculated by the economist Vít Hradil according to ČTK. The plan to compensate with a better VAT collection is entirely unrealistic according to another economist Petr Bartoně, as the Czech Republic is already among the most successful countries in collecting this tax in Europe.
26 countries can guarantee Ukraine's security, Macron said
French President Emmanuel Macron stated on Thursday that 26 Ukrainian allies committed to send soldiers to the war-torn country as a "securing force" as soon as the direct fighting with Russia ends.
Macron spoke after the Paris meeting of the so-called "Coalition of the Willing", a group of 35 countries that support Ukraine. He stated that 26 of these countries have committed to deploy troops in Ukraine to help ensure the security of the country the day after a ceasefire or peace is reached, the agency AP reported.
Belarusian counter-intelligence detained a Polish citizen suspected of espionage because he had documents related to upcoming Belarusian-Russian military exercises. The state news agency Belta reported that Belarus-1 television reported that agents from the state security service, still known under the Soviet acronym KGB, detained the man in the city of Lepel east of the capital Minsk. A Belarusian state official was also detained, wrote Reuters agency
