The highest level of heatwave red alert is in place on Tuesday for 16 French departments including Île-de-France, where Paris is located. Israel has agreed to the "necessary conditions" for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, US President Donald Trump said.
During the proposed agreement "we will cooperate with all parties to end the war," Trump said in a post on the Truth Social server without specifying what the conditions are.
"The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help establish peace, will deliver this final proposal. I hope... that Hamas will accept this agreement because it will not get better - it will get WORSE," Trump wrote.
The Israeli ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, stated that Israel is "absolutely" ready for a ceasefire, but it was not immediately clear whether Hamas will accept the terms of the proposed deal, reported BBC.
