Transgender women will not play in English football competitions

The English Football Association (FA) announced on Thursday that transgender women will not be able to play women's football in England from June 1st. The FA clarified for CNN Sports that this ban will impact all levels of women's football, from professional play to grassroots level.

The decision could affect approximately 20 transgender women who play at an amateur level. The decision comes after the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom ruled last month that the legal definition of "woman" excludes transgender women in a case that is set to impact transgender women's use of toilets, at hospital wards, sports clubs and elsewhere.

Petrol has recently become cheaper, reaching the lowest values in a number of years

Fuel in the Czech Republic is the cheapest since September 2021. The average price for petrol is 34.10 crowns and for diesel 32.86 crowns. The price fell further under the level that fuels had before the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent energy and inflation crisis, which helped increase the price of fuels.

"According to current data from the European Commission, diesel in the Czech Republic is the third cheapest in the EU after Malta and Bulgaria. The most expensive diesel in the EU, on the other hand, is in Ireland, Denmark, and Finland. As for petrol, Czech prices are currently the fourth lowest. So we have the cheapest petrol after Bulgaria, Malta, and Cyprus. Conversely, the most expensive petrol is in Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany,"
