At this year's ceremonial opening of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, actor, singer and presenter Milan Peroutka was also present, who immediately attracted attention with his unconventional outfit. He was adorned with a jewel, which according to his words was also worn by a famous American singer. We asked him about his preference for luxury, whether he invests in cryptocurrencies and much more. He also revealed what he is currently working on.
He is the son of the writer Ivana Peroutková and the drummer Milan Peroutka. You may know him from a number of television series - for example from Clinic in the Rose Garden, Horákovi, You Can't Make This Up or Blue Code.
In 2012, he formed his own band Perutě, which he still plays with today.

The film festival in Karlovy Vary is always also a bit of a fashion show. Celebrities make an effort with outfits, in which they walk the red carpet. Their prices often shoot up to unprecedented heights.
We also asked Milan who designed his outfit and how much it cost him.
"It's always a collab of my Dominik (partner of Milan, ed. note) and Táňa Kovaříková, who made the purple application. And I got the suit from Galardo, a Czech tailor shop. My jewelry is from Halada. This is a piece of jewelry worn by Jared Leto, so it's kind of a film legend to it. It probably rang up to a few million. Thankfully, I often don’t ascertain the price, usually, the journalists, who are more informed, reveal it to me,” he noted about his extravagant outfit.
Apparently, he doesn't invest in cryptocurrencies at all. However, he follows the slogan that the best investments are those in experiences.
And what kind of experiences does he prefer to invest in? He had a simple answer to that.
"Mostly it's either travel experiences, or it may be an investment in an experience somehow related to my work. I'm actually doing music now, finishing my third CD, so that's the kind of experience you invest in," he replied.
Milan also has a clearly defined attitude to luxury.
"Peace of mind is definitely important, a beautiful flat can perhaps help with that. But I am in the center and we still have our oasis of peace there. (3:34) So I have both. I don't indulge in luxury, but I don't reject it," he reveals.
"I also like a good fine dining, but I also like a very ordinary bistro, street food. I definitely love to discover new flavors and new places, So I do not reject anything. So maybe this is more in the sign of luxury, but I still think that the greatest luxury is the one you can't buy for money," he adds.
