Renata Langmannová and Ondřej Novotný

The red carpet in Karlovy Vary is every year a show of luxury, taste, and courage. But not every step into the world of evening fashion is successful. While some ladies shine like movie stars, others unfortunately make a mistake. Join us as we look at the outfits from the Progresus party at the Imperial Hotel, which brought together several fashion styles. But the absolute winner is clear. Model Renata Langmannová once again showed that less is sometimes more. And even in a costume without provocative necklines and shiny accessories, you can become the star of the evening.

Captivating Renata Langmannová

When elegance arrives hand in hand with self-confidence, the result can only be a fashion jackpot. The model and entrepreneur Renata Langmannová has once again confirmed that she has style at her fingertips. The light trouser suit fit her like a glove and perfectly captured the atmosphere of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival as well as her personality. The oversize cut with a hint of masculine elegance gave the outfit a timeless feel, while the gold accessories and pointed heels upgraded the outfit to the level of haute couture. Beach-waved hair, a smile like a cover girl... A joy to look at!

Next to her shone her husband Ondřej Novotný in a perfectly fitting dark blue suit. And now watch out - sneakers! Yes, relaxed, white and branded. Even though more conservative fashion critics might consider it a fashion rebellion, here it works. Together they looked like a Hollywood couple. Casual chic, groomed to the last detail and yet natural. They rightly were considered the most stylish couple of the evening. More like them.

Daring Anna Marie Kánská

Anna Marie Kánská decided to play it safe. The chocolate velvet dress with a dramatic neckline, pearls, and a high slit is definitely impossible to miss. The model combines elements of luxury and sensuality, but is a bit on the edge. At first glance, it may look like a stage costume. The top part of the dress reminding a corset dotted with pearls is quite striking, perhaps even slightly exaggerated. It's as if Anna couldn't decide between an opera and a gala evening in Vegas. However, the overall styling holds together thanks to an elegant hairstyle, subtle jewelry, and a black clutch. And such a style fits Anna perfectly.

The entrepreneur Richard Chlad is the embodiment of classic nobility. Even a black velvet tuxedo with white trousers and a bow tie is a sure bet. He appears gallant, exactly as befits a man of his stature. There was no couple that exuded more confidence that evening.

Barbie Katerina Matlova

Singer Katerina Matlova opted for pink and definitely attracted the attention of everyone around her. The powder shade of the dress with a deep neckline, gathered at the waist and with an extended train, serves as a tribute to Hollywood elegance. Katerina looked like a perfect Barbie diva. When such a "sweet pink" is combined with a blond mane, it can't turn out any other way. The overall look is impressive, feminine, and stylistically at a high level. At first glance it's romantic, but with a sharp hint of sex appeal, which the blonde undoubtedly conceals.

Hair in old Hollywood style, a glossy signature, and silver jewelry perfectly complement the overall impression. Mátlová knows what suits her, and this time she chose a look in which she shone like the real star of the evening. Striking, feminine and self-assured.

Elegant Andrea Verešová

Model Andrea Verešová has once again confirmed that she plays the top league on the red carpet. Her silvery pearlescent dress is exactly the type of dress that requires a figure, charisma, and healthy fashion confidence. And Andrea has it all. A deep neckline, long sleeves and elegant gathers along the body create a model that is sexy and tasteful at the same time. The material gently reflects light, so with every move, it literally glows. All without Andrea having to worry about sparkling accessories. It is evident that every detail has been carefully considered. Andrea is known for leaving nothing to chance in fashion. A hairstyle combed back emphasizes not only striking cheekbones, but also a beautiful line of neck and jewelry. The chosen earrings and necklace are modest, but very high quality. They underline the luxurious impression without having to compete with the robe for attention. The makeup is fresh, natural, perfectly matched with the skin tone and the color of the dress.

Andrea once again showed that she lives by fashion. And she does it with such confidence and grace, that she could be a role model for many younger colleagues. This is a typical red carpet look. Luxurious, refined and with natural charm, which cannot be learned. You simply have to be born with it.

Chaotic Lenka Dragounová

Sometimes the attempt to shine turns into a fight with one's own robe. And that's exactly the case of entrepreneur Lenka Dragounová. The black dress could be a solid base on its own. The long silhouette flatters the figure, the material looks high quality, and even the asymmetric cut could be an interesting element… But everything got overshadowed by the pink organza, which winds around the body like a blanket on a cool autumn evening. At first glance, it tries to give the impression of a bow that discreetly covers the cleavage, shoulders, and hips. And unfortunately, at first glance, it looks very cheap. Like a failed attempt at "couture drama".

When we add too conspicuous glasses, a bag with ostentatious decoration and red painted nails, the result is more chaos than style. The entire model gives the impression that each piece was chosen separately without regard to the whole. As if Lenka forgot that less is often more. And that applies even in Vary.

Although some courage cannot be denied to her, the final impression resembles more a bizarre fashion faux pas rather than a confident fashion victory. A shame for the wasted potential.

Unimpressive Lenka Graf

The soprano Lenka Graf chose tried and true black, which often saves many. But unfortunately, this time even this certainty did not help. The dress with a ruffled hem on the shoulders was presumably meant to add drama and nobility to the model, but the result rather reminds of the prom season at the turn of the millennium rather than current fashion trends. The material feels heavy, the cut lacks lightness and sophistication. The dress blends without a hint of shaping and effect. As if it were lost somewhere between classic and boredom.

Even accessories won't save the overall dull impression. The silver fringe purse looks cheap, while the jewelry and makeup lack creativity. Although the hair is styled, it lacks the element of surprise. Instead of the star of the evening, we see a woman who played it safe, but chose the least inventive way. Black can be elegant, but not when it loses its style. Unfortunately, this look got lost in the crowd.
