Fashion from the Carpathians: Verešová was the symbol of luxury at the UniCredit party, but it didn't work out for Mátlová and Švantnerová.
One of the most luxurious parties of the Karlovy Vary festival attracted famous faces and fashion aces. The prestigious UniCredit party was not short of breathtaking robes, daring cuts, or carefully thought-out details. Some ladies amazed with noblesse, others surprised with extravagance. But some missed the mark this time. Where luxury is worn with absolute casualness, and who does it just a bit better?

Andrea Verešová's Female Power
Model Andrea Verešová reaffirmed that she belongs among the fashion mainstays, who understand the red carpet to the last detail. In a perfectly fitting white robe with an asymmetrical cut and an effective floral application on her chest, she personified elegance and female self-confidence. The dress of luxurious material clung to her figure just right. Decently, but nevertheless with emphasis on the curves. A large flower on the top part of the model added some pizzazz to the outfit haute couture, while the pure white color in combination with minimalist accessories underscored her sense of style and nobility.
Smoothed back hair and delicate jewelry let the robe itself stand out and gave Andrea a modern sheen. The whole look was relaxed, but at the same time precise. Exactly as it should be for such an evening. By her side, the elegant husband Daniel Volopich in a black suit complemented the overall picture of a stylish and well-coordinated couple, which has been the case for years.
Refined Maria Dušička
Maria Dušička's model was proof that delicacy and sophistication do not exclude each other. The nude pleated dress of a loose cut looks inconspicuous at first glance, but on closer inspection, it impresses with a perfectly crafted bottom hem, which resembles shaped petals or silk waves. This detail gives the whole model a stamp of originality, especially in motion. The loose cut can be risky, but Maria pulled it off. Also thanks to the figure and graceful posture of the body. The dress did not swallow her, on the contrary, it allowed her natural charm to stand out and it looks relaxed and modern. The choice of a knit clutch in the tone of the dress is tasteful, discreet and not disturbing.
The chosen wet look hairstyle is not for everyone, but here it surprisingly works. In combination with unobtrusive jewelry and a more pronounced eye makeup, it creates the impression of an elegant model from a fashion show runway. We've never seen Majk Spirit's wife step astray on the red carpet. Many could learn from her!
Femme fatale Hana Vagnerová
Actress Hana Vagnerová showed that she can be not only a romantic lady in an evening gown but also a hot femme fatale. At the UniCredit Bank party, she wore a fitted corset dress in a metallic shade of red, copper, and gold, which literally played with the light and emphasized her well-toned figure.
A short cut to the knee, a structured bodice and distinctive material are a combination that attracts attention without looking cheap. The whole together works great. From simple black sandals to a practical purse that goes great with the outfit. A looser hairstyle and red lipstick then add flair and confidence.
Although this model is not among the most formal, it is a bull's eye for such a party. Sexy, bold and modern, but still tasteful. If someone mixed a fiery cocktail full of colors and sex appeal that night, it was definitely Hana.
Sára Milfajtová's Black Classic
Actress Sára Milfajtová chose a proven combination of black lace and tulle. And she played it safe at the party, which turned out to be excellent. The long robe with a deep neckline to the waist is daring, but thanks to the overall modesty in the rest of the styling, it does not look cheap. The lace corset with a gentle shine adds a touch of evening elegance to the dress, while the airy skirt maintains a sense of lightness.
The danger of such deep necklines lies in balancing on the edge of taste, but Sára managed to keep the balance. This was also helped by a modest choice of a hairstyle pulled back from the face, natural makeup, and the absence of overdone accessories.
The only thing that could be improved is fine-tuning the details. For example, the shoes seem very ordinary, and the dress might deserve a more noticeable necklace around the neck area, which would highlight the neckline.
Goddess Daniela Peštová
Top model Daniela Peštová once again confirmed that she belongs to the fashion elite. The black robe with sophisticated cut-outs, halter strap and exposed shoulders was daring, modern and yet absolutely tasteful. A demanding cut, which could come across as excessive on someone else, looked like a second skin on her. The model highlighted her slim silhouette and at the same time looked luxurious and sexy without a single doubt.
Thanks to simple styling - loose waves, gentle makeup and minimalist jewelry - Daniela allowed the dress itself to fully shine. The result was one of the most striking and confident looks of the evening, which stood out precisely for how perfectly it fit the wearer. Singer Pavol Habera shone at her side in an elegant dark blue suit, and thus wonderfully complemented her striking model. He didn't overshadow her, but certainly didn't lag behind. Together they formed one of the most stylish couples of the evening, which was a pleasure to look at.

Carnival à la Kateřina Mátlová
This year's participant of the Survivor competition and singer Kateřina Mátlová has once again drawn attention to herself, quite literally. In a red fit dress with significantly puffed sleeves, she looked like a diva from the opera stage. The model is definitely not inconspicuous, but unfortunately, it balances on the edge between effective and exaggerated. The color of the dress suits her, beautifully matching with blond waves and tanned skin. The body fit cut highlights the figure and the sophisticated ruching on the tummy supports female curves. However, what appears overly theatrical are the huge sleeves. They somewhat resemble a "carnival", which subtracts from the overall impression of elegance.
Golden sandals and a silver purse are indeed a nice detail, but both metallic elements together are a bit competitive. Combined with the large volume of the sleeves, the styling unnecessarily burdensome. The blonde diva is brave, sexy, but fashion-wise on the edge. Kateřina has the charisma and figure to attract, but less would have been more this time. The sleeves took up all the carpet for themselves. And maybe it would be appropriate to leave something for the rest of them.
Sweetheart Nikol Švantnerová
The model and influencer Nikol Švantnerová chose a model that resembled a puffy pink marshmallow for the UniCredit Bank party. The mini dress in a shade of baby pink, finished with a balloon hem and adorned with a prominent bow on the chest, appears playful, but at the expense of elegance. The short length and significant volume in the lower part create a disproportion that does not flatter every figure, although Nikol saves it with her height and long legs.
The styling is well-done, for which we credit Nikol. Nude pumps and a pink handbag match tone in tone and keep the outfit in a carefully coordinated plane. The make-up and combed hairstyle are delicate, they don’t overshadow the dress, which is the right choice. All things considered, the model is not outright bad, but it remains more in the realm of "Instagram styling" rather than fashion elegance. For an evening full of robes, it seems more like an outfit for a summer party than for an official festival event. Moreover, Nikol confided to her Instagram followers that she had chosen between a pink dress and simple black ones, for which she had a custom-made golden corset. It looked absolutely fabulous and it's a great pity that she didn't eventually wear it on the red carpet. In that, she would have been the star of the evening and the clear winner of the whole party.
Nikol Kouklová halfway there
Actress Nikol Kouklová arrived at the party in a silk-like trouser model with effective wide sleeves and a waist tied with a ribbon. The overall impression is based on simplicity and a clean line, reminiscent of an elegant pajamas or Japanese robe. Unfortunately, this austerity has rather turned into a bland boredom.
The creation could have served as a modern alternative to an evening jumpsuit, but lacked elegance and attention to detail. The material seems crumpled, the cut in the trouser region without a falling cut, and the sleeves definitely do not flatter the figure. The pale shade does not suit the actress at all. Hairstyle and makeup, tuned into rough glamour, including sharply shaded eyes and slicked ponytail, appear too dramatic compared to the delicacy of the outfit. Overall it's mismatched and all the efforts went unnoticed.
Cautious Kateřina Sokolová
Model Kateřina Sokolová chose a dress in a nude shade, which bet on minimalism, femininity, and translucent layering. The corset top gently shaped the silhouette, while the asymmetric drapery over the hips was intended to add dynamics and interest to the model. However, the whole looks somewhat unremarkable and occasionally unfinished.
The nude tone of the dress, although very popular, does not suit the model very well. There's a lack of color contrast or a more pronounced accessory, that would lift the look and give it personality. Transparent skirt, on the other hand, seems more like a compromise between sexy and safe choice without a real wow effect. The dress does not fit the model too well in the cleavage area either. It's as if it was slightly smaller for her.
A hairstyle with straight hair and bangs, as well as subtle makeup, match the desire for a natural, clean look. The metallic purse is a nice touch, but by itself, it can't save the outfit anyway.
