Silence is golden, but confession is more interesting. While many Czech stars claim that their transformation is solely due to a healthy lifestyle, some have decided to come clean. What exactly have Dara Rolins, Lela Vémola, Aneta Krejčíková, Eva Feuereislová, or Andrea Pomeje had done?
Plastic surgery as a taboo? Not anymore in the Czech show business. More and more stars are talking about their procedures openly, and sometimes the public finds out the truth before they do. Dara Rolins knows this well, as she went through very tough times after a video from a foreign doctor's office appeared on social media.
The most discussed case in recent years. Dara Rolins has always been open. She admitted to breast augmentation, repeated nose surgeries, and botox. However, she planned to keep her facelift private, so she chose an Italian clinic. But the local surgeon released footage of the procedure without her knowledge, putting the singer under public scrutiny before she had a chance to say anything. This was very upsetting for her.
In the end, she described everything on her website herself: breasts, nose, minor facial experiments, neck lifting, and eyelid surgery. “The fact that I take care of myself, that I've admitted to the breasts, nose, minor facial experiments, just confirms my overall attitude towards reality and aesthetic medicine," she wrote. "Even though I never felt obliged to disclose everything, I have never answered dishonestly to a direct question," she added. Negative reactions surprised her more than anything else. For long weeks, it was discussed how Rolins looked on camera, how she appeared on the released video, and how she looked on social media. However, at that time, Dara used it to alert her followers to the false perfection that is abundant on social media.
"It was just a matter of time. I've always known that there is nothing more radical and functional than a facelift. I didn't want to repeatedly prick, stretch, and fill my face again and again with something supposedly temporary," Rolins is certain.
Soon, the former wife of fighter Karlos Vémola would hardly be able to keep plastic surgeries a secret. Lela Vémola started at eighteen when she had her breasts done. Because she couldn't get the size she wanted right after the first procedure, she had them enlarged several more times. This was followed by a nose job, lip augmentation, and implants in her rear. She herself admits that she has undergone so much that she has lost track. Just in 2022, she talked about adjusting her nose and eyelids.
It is no secret that her appearance has significantly changed alongside Karlos, although Lela never hid her love for altering her looks. "Since I now have older children, it's time to start taking care of myself and fix things I had previously planned," she confessed.
Actress Aneta Krejčíková from the series Ulice and Volha was considered one of the most endowed in Czech showbiz. However, this was more of a problem than an advantage. She earned a reputation as an actress who likes to undress in front of the camera, and this came with many inappropriate comments. "I grew up in a family where large breasts were not something worthy of admiration and beauty. On the contrary, an impractical burden," she wrote on Instagram.
She thought about the procedure for years, but only decided to have breast reduction and reshaping after giving birth to her children. When she first sat down after the surgery without bandages and a bra, she had tears in her eyes. She can finally buy a blouse with an open back. "I chose a very good plastic surgeon based on his work, which I saw firsthand on my colleague, with whom I shared a dressing room for some time, and I must honestly say that I hadn't seen more beautiful, naturally looking breasts," she explained.
Participant of VyVolení and influencer Eva Feuereislová is open about her surgeries. She estimates having around forty, not counting threads, micro-needles, and minor procedures for skin tightening. She had to go to the operating room multiple times just because of her nose. She spent over a million crowns on everything. She carries the nickname Plastiq queen as a title and considers her openness a part of her brand. Eva even admitted to having undergone intimate area adjustments. "My body cost over a million," she said. She had her bust adjusted several times. "I had my third breasts after seven years when my implant burst and my muscle tore. That was incredible pain. At the same time, there was a war in Ukraine, and there were no implants. I lived with a burst implant for a year,"
A major advantage is that most of it was, according to her, barter or paid for by her ex-boyfriend. Recently, Eva was also a media focal point due to her romance with the former media mogul Jaromír Soukup. "The men I know want a well-groomed and cared-for woman by their side. When she looks good, smells nice, goes to the hairdresser, gets her nails done, and tries to look good for the guy, then the gentlemen like it. They don't want a slob with matted hair beside them," she explained her stance.
DJ and widow of actor Jiří Pomeje, the charming Andrea Pomeje, gradually turned to cosmetic surgeries. For a long time, she wished everyone believed it was all-natural. But then it became public, and there was no turning back. She admitted to having breast enlargement and also that she neglected recovery after the first surgery. She drove a car home, prematurely removed her bra, and even got pregnant with actor Jiří Pomeje while still in recovery, which led to complications and the need to undergo surgery again. She publicly acknowledged a nose job only after a dog bite required surgical intervention.
Andrea doesn't talk much about her transformation, but fans have noticed that compared to previous years, Andrea's face looks different. She has previously admitted to using botox. "I've had a lot of dissolving done, like the lips or botox. It's a long journey to get it back. Botox was applied to me and my eyebrows dropped. It takes three months for it to go away, so I tried to speed it up with sunlight and tanning beds because I didn't feel good at all. It's always trial and error. I've been through it too, but I think it can be avoided," she said.
Model and presenter Hanka Mašlíková underwent breast surgery a total of three times. The first time, she had her breasts enlarged to a size four and unabashedly admitted that it was her dream. "After all, if it costs so much money, I won’t be frugal," she explained. The second surgery was due to cracks in the implants, the third for aesthetic correction of asymmetry. By then she was more restrained and chose a smaller size. She admitted to using Botox openly on social media.
Actress Alice Bendová kept her silicone breasts a secret for over a decade. She only admitted to them when she decided to have the implants removed and subsequently reshaped. Liposuction, she admitted almost casually, almost as a detail. Today, she approaches cosmetic procedures with a sense of perspective and does not rule out undergoing them again in the future. Over the past few years, she has lost a significant amount of weight, and the adjustments help her feel great in her body even after turning fifty. However, she added that since she no longer has implants, her breasts now make movements she wasn't used to for years. "They're heading south," she laughed.
Singer Katka Brzobohatá from the group Holki was long skeptical about plastic surgery. It wasn't until breastfeeding three children that she was convinced. "I used to be skeptical about it. It seemed unnecessary and superficial to me. But after what breastfeeding did to my breasts, I'm happy with the surgery," she says. She chose round implants, size 335 ml. Her colleagues from Holki, Nikola Šobichová and Radana Labajová, also underwent breast augmentation.
Agáta Hanychová long refused any adjustments and was proud to welcome her advancing years without fear of aging. However, she recently decided to make a small adjustment. She underwent upper eyelid surgery and received praise from her followers on how much it rejuvenated her.
Model and influencer Simona Krainová often faces accusations on social media that there's nothing "real" about her. Even at fifty, she doesn't age, has a fantastic figure, and looks increasingly younger. However, according to Simona, a plastic surgeon's hand is not behind it. "Let me be completely honest! I have no plastic in me. I don't have any fillers, facelift, or minilift. I don't have artificial breasts. Everything you see is just good maintenance," she said in a video on her Instagram. "I regularly go for botox, hydration, infusions, and non-invasive as well as minimally invasive procedures," she added.
One of the beauties who loves plastic surgery is the so-called "Czech Barbie" Gabriela Jiráčková. Influencer Veronica Biasiol, who is soon getting married, also admitted to having breast enlargement. She is marrying Matěj Dejdar, the son of famous actor Martin Dejdar. His fiancée also has a modified nose and filled lips. Domi Alagia, this year's Miss Grand winner, doesn't hide her nose surgery either, stating she did it primarily for health reasons. At the age of 42, actress Vlastina Svátková "got" new breasts, which gave her new confidence and perspective on her body after breastfeeding her three sons. Writer Radka Třeštíková also boasts a new décolleté, and model and miss Petra Faltýnová, former partner of Leoš Mareš, had silicone implants inserted at eighteen.
Actress Vilma Cibulková had her breasts enlarged many years ago and even appeared nude in the film Pupendo. She still has such a crowd of admirers that she could choose a new one almost every day. Cibulková was considered a beloved symbol of beauty even before the surgery. Model and actress from the film Účastníci zájezdu Jitka Kocurová, model Romana Pavelková, and Vlaďka Erbová also decided to enlarge their breasts, and businesswoman Nela Slováková or model Diana Kobzanová publicly admitted to having breast surgery. Since then, Kobzanová feels so comfortable in her body that she often attends social events in very daring outfits. Dominika Mesarošová has had her breasts enlarged several times, and singer Martina Pártlová took such a step in the past as well.
There are also famous women who do not desire a doctor's intervention, for example, actress Veronika Arichteva. A few years ago, she was recommended by the wife of actor Filip Blažek, manicurist Jolana, to go for plastic surgery for her décolletage. She added that if Arichteva can afford to build a house, she can afford plastic surgery. Arichteva shared this on Instagram at the time, sparking a media controversy that the Czech public hadn’t seen in a long time. "I thought it was a fake profile, but no. It really is Jolana Blažková. That's embarrassing, Filip Blažek," Arichteva said to her colleague on social media, making it clear that she definitely does not intend to change.
