Trump "might" be planning to occupy an Iranian island
American President Donald Trump proposed that American forces occupy the Iranian island Kharg, which is the main oil terminal in the Persian Gulf.
"We might occupy Kharg Island, we might not. We have plenty of options. It would also mean that we would have to stay there (on Kharg Island) for a while," said Trump according to AP. The President also stated that Iran agreed to allow 20 oil-carrying ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz "as a sign of respect" starting Monday morning and in the following days.
Czech Climber Lost His Life in Greece
A sixty-year-old Czech climber was seriously injured after falling from a cliff on the island of Kalymnos. According to information from ČTK, one of the fixed protection elements embedded in the rock came loose. The man managed to call for help, but due to poor weather and a language barrier, his rescue was complicated and he succumbed to his injuries. Climbing tourism plays an important role in the island's economy, but the tragedy has raised questions about the quality of the local climbing routes and the rescue service, which is composed of volunteers on the island.
