Finance Minister Alena Schillerová unveiled the government's plan to bring back EET, which she herself ended in the previous Babiš government in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. This time, entrepreneurs will not be required to issue receipts, only upon request.
The obligation will also not apply to invoiced payments. Entrepreneurs with revenues up to one million crowns annually or who are in the first band of flat taxation will also not need to register. Furthermore, sectors such as air transportation, banking, or vending machines will be exempt, as the minister stated according to ČTK at the press conference.
