Appointing Filip Turk to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs could be a very expensive joke for the entire country.

Fair enough: Filip Turek can easily be a minister. It won't be cheap for Czech citizens.

Opponents of Filip Turk are bothered by his verbal inclination towards fascist ideas.

Not only Filip Turk's (non-party for Motorists) election success filled him with triumphalism. Like when a person gets a desired job, they feel endless enthusiasm until they realize they actually have to work. Similarly, the opposition began planning government plans in festive euphoria, but political reality does not begin and end on papers thrown into urns. However, some still retain childish naivety in politics.

The scandalous revelation cast a shadow on the sunny rays shining on the love between the parties of the emerging new government coalition! A coincidence or a conspiracy of sold-out media and hurt truth-seekers? Neither. The case of Filip Turk is just one of many chapters in the book of political reality.

Being surprised that journalists are interested in politicians and bring findings about their views is like being fascinated by theatrically falling footballers during a match on the pitch. It is part of the game of football. Gaining advantages due to fouls is simply a proven tactic for success in the match.

A footballer in civilian life doesn't fall to the ground with a grimace of inhuman pain when, for example, a child fan pulls at his shirt in the crush for autographs. Journalists likewise do not write about every person who espouses fascist views, chauvinism, xenophobia, and giggles over an arson attack on a little girl. There is a colorful array of such people on social networks, and they have certainly expressed electoral support for one of them, Filip Turko.

Politics in a democratic world is a matter of public interest. So, the media informs about politicians, what else should they do? Write about the problems of bees and pretend that politicians do not exist? The Stork Nest, Kampelička, bitcoins, Faltýnek's Diary, Brno sewerage, box of wine, dosimeter, and also bigotry on twitter. Everything would quickly fly through the ether, often unnoticed, if the actors were not politicians.

However, Turk's case brings something new. Paradoxically, the findings are not any particularly surprising, investigative work. Anyone who knows Filip Turk's role as an "influencer" knows very well that bigotry (ranging from historical fascination in the form of Heiling and collecting Nazi items to regular calls for the elimination of people with different views) has always been the standard with him.

Leckdo noticed this shortly after the election.

"If Filip Turek became the foreign minister, this picture would go around the world," commented laconically a photograph (see below) of the saluting Turk on X by political scientist Jiří Pehe already on October 6, i.e. less than two weeks ago.

For example, President Petr Pavel noticed this. His words about the embarrassment, which the new government, regardless of its composition and with any prime minister, is subjected to are very apt. Its first wheel is already starting to spin slowly.

"Despite accusations of racism and a Nazi collection: Will Filip Turek become the new foreign minister in the Czech Republic?"

offered the title in German, for example, Die Presse.

The whole affair is a lesson in how politics works. Intoxicated by electoral success, the winners forgot the rules of the game. For a lame comedy with simulated football comes a yellow card. However, the longer the game is played against the rules, the heavier the punishment will come. Petr Fiala tried it with Pavel Blažek for so long until the bitcoin case blew up in his face before the elections.

Drivers still continue with their approach of naive children in politics. They are thus following e.g. their ideas about a balanced budgetsucked out of a finger. All this is ruled by Turek himself, whose explanation of the whole case is really nothing more than a performance worthy only of a sandbox in front of a kindergarten. He underlined this lastly by filming himself wishing himself a happy birthday.

Some children like to learn, so for clarification. The given title translated from German suggests that Germans are not children. Who thinks that Friedrich Merz or his industrial captains have time for childish videos from Filip Turek's account? The headline about Nazism and racism is more than enough for them to close the doors of their offices with the message: knock when you grow up.

The answer to the question of which country is the most significant trading partner of the Czech Republic is also known in the political kindergarten of Motorists. At the same time, Turek is right in his garage video that the Motorists are a significant political force, so the voters decided. The Motorists can easily push their honorary president, who is not even officially a member of the party (consider this a harmless and cute part of their political childhood), to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Although he is under investigation by the police, we know the criminally charged government officials very well, they are usually covered by parliamentary immunity and it would be fair if all government parties had their "accused" person hidden under immunity. Political reality, however, will not change this. The closed offices of the big players will relegate such a foreign minister to dig at the county championship.

When it comes to investments that will boost Czech economic growth, Karel Havlíček (ANO) enjoys talking about them, but we will be left dreaming about them and every Czech citizen will feel it in their wallet. While an adult learns from this, a child often has no choice but to cry.
