A picturesque electric tram, which is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Lisbon, derailed and crashed on Wednesday, killing 15 people and injuring 18 others. Five of the injured are in serious condition, and among the injured is a child. There is an unknown number of foreigners among the injured. The historic vehicle was carrying passengers over a very short route to one of the Lisbon hills and was mainly used by tourists as an attraction. The cause of the accident is not known, but it may affect the interest of million of annual tourists flowing into the city, said the agency AP.
